The Kahanu Garden is gorgeous in its own right, grown up with plants important to the Hawaiian culture as well as beautiful. But what you must see, if you visit, is the Pi'ilanihali Heieu, the largest heiau (an ancient place of worship) in the state, maybe in all of Polynesia.
